The breathtaking ocean view from our terrace was simply stunning. We were lucky enough to spot monkeys and even Kolibris right from our room. The owner, Mykel, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local nature and monkeys of Ometepe. The authentic and delicious food, especially the pancakes and Nica repochetas, made our stay even better. The location in the jungle provided a unique and unforgettable experience. we highly recommend this authentic and charming place.

Remote area near San Ramon waterfall for exploring and experiencing locals' way of life. Caution needed on gravel roads. Quiet place with beautiful view. Need transportation for getting around. Freshly prepared food by mum. Exceptional hosts. Authentic location in the jungle. Excellent gardens with monkeys and kolibris. Unique place.

The room we stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful terrace with comfy chairs overlooking the lake. We had the most incredible sunset view from there! The young family who runs the hotel were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They even offered to cook fresh meals for us, which were delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect for those seeking a more remote and peaceful getaway. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and experiencing the local way of life.
One thing that bothered us was the lack of transparency regarding the prices of the meals. We assumed they would be reasonably priced, considering the affordable room rates.

The family-run lodge has spacious rooms with comfortable beds and private balconies offering stunning sunset views of the lake and volcanoes. The tropical garden is filled with banana trees and beautiful flowers, attracting birds and monkeys. The freshly made fruit juices using fruits from the garden are the best in Central America. The local guide for the volcan Maderas tour was knowledgeable and supportive.

The value for money at Jungle Villa was exceptional, with comfortable rooms and a beautiful view of the lake from the terrace. The location was perfect for nature lovers, surrounded by the jungle and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. The staff, especially Maykel and his family, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering more variety.

What an amazing stay at a hidden gem in a remote location! The hosts at this family-run place went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spacious with a lovely terrace overlooking the breathtaking lake. I was lucky enough to witness the most magical sunset from there. The owner, who spoke perfect English, made every effort to fulfill my wishes and ensure a home-like feeling throughout my stay. The food, freshly prepared by the host mother, was absolutely delicious. The well-maintained garden added to the charm of the place. Although the hotel was a bit out of the way from the main part of town, I rented a moto and had no trouble getting around. The hospitality, cleanliness, and WiFi connection were top-notch. The host even offered to clean my room multiple times. A minor inconvenience was the occasional power outage, but that's common on the island. The only surprise came when I received the bill for the food on my last day, as the prices were a bit higher than expected. However, given the exceptional value I received for the accommodation, it didn't bother me much. I had a truly magical experience at this enchanting place. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ometepe Island.

We had an incredible experience at Jungle Villa in Merida! The owner, Maykel, was a true gentleman and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He recommended an amazing guide, Danys, who took us on a breathtaking hike up Maderas Volcano and kayaking in the Wetlands. The views from the property were stunning, especially during sunset over the lake with the volcano in the background. The family that runs the place was so friendly and the food was delicious. The room was comfortable, although it did get a bit hot at night. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Jungle Villa for a relaxing and unique Ometepe experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful location, friendly staff, and wonderful experiences.
